Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 10 fl oz
- Sour Cream - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Trim excess fat from the pork and cut it into small rectangular pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the oil and lard, add the meat, and cook over high heat for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add the onion and cook until it is caramelized to a golden color. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the tomato, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Pour in the sour cream, stir, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from heat, sprinkle with herbs, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Serve fluffy porridge or mashed potatoes as a side dish.
