Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 10.6 oz
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- 20% Sour Cream - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Dill - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Trim excess fat from the pork and cut it into small rectangular pieces, then season with salt and pepper. Slice the onion into quarter-rings. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water to remove their skins.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the oil and lard, add the meat, and cook over high heat for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add the onion and bay leaf, and cook until the onion is golden brown. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. While the meat is simmering, dice the tomatoes as finely as possible.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Pour in the sour cream, mix thoroughly, bring to a boil, and cook for 10 minutes. Chop the herbs.
Step 6
Remove from heat, sprinkle with herbs, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
