Pork stew with prunes and onions.
Ingredients
- Pork Blood - 14.1 oz
- Prunes - 16 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 5 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the pork into small cubes (about 2 cm) and the onion into thin rings.
Step 2
Sauté the pork in vegetable oil until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Wash the prunes and spread them out in the bottom of the saucepan.
Step 4
Place the sautéed pork on top of the prunes.
Step 5
In the skillet where the pork was cooked, pour in hot water and bring it to a boil. Then, pour the resulting liquid into the saucepan with the pork and prunes.
Step 6
In the remaining oil, sauté the onion until golden and add it to the pork.
Step 7
Simmer on low heat for about forty minutes, until the pork absorbs the flavor of the prunes and the liquid turns a brown color.
Step 8
Serve with pasta drizzled with the pork sauce.
