Description
As a side dish, I recommend nests of tagliatelle. It turns out very tasty and, most importantly, it's quite simple.
Ingredients
- Pork Blood - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Green Apples - 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Basil - to taste
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a saucepan (or simply a deep pot).
Step 2
Slice the onion into rings (preferably thin, so they soften faster).
Step 3
When the oil is hot, add the onion to the saucepan.
Step 4
Cut the pork into small cubes.
Step 5
When the onion softens and releases juice, add the pork.
Step 6
Simmer for about 20 minutes over medium heat. After about 15 minutes, add the soy sauce.
Step 7
Slice the green apples into thin wedges. Layer them on top of the meat in the saucepan.
Step 8
Simmer on low heat for another 20 minutes, until the apples are completely softened and mix with the softened onion.
Step 9
5-10 minutes before it's done, add the bay leaf, pepper, and salt to taste (keep in mind that the soy sauce has already added some saltiness to the dish).
