Ingredients
- Bacon - 5.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Daikon - 3.9 oz
- Sweet Potato - 3.9 oz
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Shimeji mushrooms - 14.1 oz
- Mini corn - 8 pieces
- Dashi powder - 13 fl oz
- Sake - 1 tablespoon
- Miso Paste - 0.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat a wok over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until it starts to smoke, then add the vegetable oil. Add the sliced bacon and fry for 1 minute. Next, add the chopped vegetables and mushrooms and fry for another minute. Pour in the dashi and sake, bring to a boil, and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Take 2 tablespoons of broth from the wok and mix it with the miso paste until well dissolved. Pour the mixture back into the wok and cook for 1 minute. Divide into 2 bowls.
