Ingredients
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Safflower Oil - 1 fl oz
- 10% cream - 8 fl oz
- Emmental cheese - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Potato - 28.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes in salted water, leaving the skins on.
Step 2
Dry slightly and mash using a potato masher or a specialized mill.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Grease a baking tray with butter. Warm the cream without bringing it to a boil. Mix the cream with the leftover butter from greasing the tray (there should be about 40 grams), add grated cheese, mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, and crack in one egg. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Place the patties made from the mixture onto a baking sheet, crack the second egg, whisk it well, and use a brush to thoroughly coat the surface of the potato patties. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the patties turn golden brown.
