Ingredients

  • Potato - 2 lbs
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Lean Beef - 10.6 oz
  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Salted anchovies in oil - 1.8 oz
  • Thyme - ⅓ bunches
  • 10% cream - 17 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the potatoes and grate them using a coarse grater. Mix with the ground beef, thyme leaves, cream, finely chopped anchovies, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. The mixture should be smooth and homogeneous.

Step 2

Transfer this mixture to a baking dish generously greased with butter and place it in an oven preheated to 320°F for forty-five to fifty minutes.

Step 3

Serve with a green salad and pickled cucumbers.
