Potato Casserole with Chicken and Cheese

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Chicken fillet - 14.1 oz
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
  • Paprika - to taste
  • Turmeric - to taste
  • Grated Ginger Root - to taste
  • Dried Dill Stems - to taste
  • Hard Cheese - 5.3 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thinly slice the chicken fillet, mix mayonnaise, chicken, and spices to taste. Mix well and let sit for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Slice the onion into thin rings and grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Mix the sour cream (you can substitute sour cream with cream) and spices to taste, and mix well.

Step 4

Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.

Step 5

In a greased baking dish, lay a layer of onion. On top of the onion, lay a layer of potatoes. Spread the potato with the sour cream and spice sauce. Tightly layer the chicken fillet on top.

Step 6

Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used. Generously sprinkle cheese on top.

Step 7

Place the casserole in a preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes. Check readiness with a knife or toothpick.

Step 8

Let the finished casserole cool slightly and serve.
