Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 8 pieces
- Russian Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Crab Meat - 7.1 oz
- Cheese Spread - to taste
- Cream 22% - 7 fl oz
- Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Butter - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds (1–2 mm). Add pepper and nutmeg to the cream, mix, and let the sliced potatoes soak in this mixture for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare a hot sauce using the four-cheese sauce mix (milk will be needed for preparation).
Step 3
Grate the cheese and finely chop the crab meat.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with butter, layer half of the potato slices slightly overlapping. Sprinkle half of the grated cheese over the potato layer and pour half of the sauce. Top with the remaining potato layer. Pour the cream with spices into the dish. Place in the oven for 15–20 minutes at a temperature of 180–392°F.
Step 5
Remove the casserole from the oven. Sprinkle the chopped crab meat, remaining grated cheese, and pour the sauce on top. Return to the oven for another 7–10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and cut into portions.
