Ingredients
- Beef Kidneys - 14.1 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 17.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Dry White Wine - 10 fl oz
- Breadcrumbs - 3 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 2.5 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the liver and cut it into pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Sauté the onion, add the liver, white wine, salt, and spices, and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer to a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 356°F and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes until tender, mash with the egg, butter, and milk. Chop the nuts and mix them with the breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Remove the liver from the oven and layer the mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle with the mixture of breadcrumbs and chopped nuts, followed by the grated cheese. Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
