Potato casserole with meat and mushrooms
Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lean Beef - 24.7 oz
- Canned Mushroom Soup - 3.5 oz
- Canned Corn - 3.5 oz
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Potato - 10 pieces
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Fresh Mushrooms - 3.5 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 3 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the finely chopped onion and white mushrooms in a large skillet for 1-2 minutes over medium heat.
Step 2
When the onion becomes translucent and soft, add the ground meat to the skillet and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Add diced boiled carrots, green peas, corn, and a tablespoon of tomato sauce to the minced meat. Season with salt and pepper, mix well, and let it cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Do not cook the minced meat all the way through.
Step 4
Boil the potatoes and mash them with a mixer, mixing in milk, sour cream, butter, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
In individual ramekins (6 pieces), spread a layer of mashed potatoes on the bottom and smooth it out with a spoon. Evenly distribute the meat filling with vegetables on top of the mashed potatoes, and cover it with a second layer of mashed potatoes.
Step 6
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 347°F.
Step 7
Before serving, garnish the casserole with parsley.
