Potato Casserole with Salmon
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 3 lbs
- Onion - 1 head
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Salmon - 14.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the mashed potatoes, adding cream and melted butter.
Step 2
Sauté the onion and add it to the mashed potatoes.
Step 3
Season the salmon with salt and add pepper, frying until golden brown (if the steaks are thick and slightly undercooked inside, don't worry, the fish will finish cooking during baking).
Step 4
Spread half of the mashed potatoes in a baking dish, place the salmon, which has been deboned and cut into small pieces, on top, and cover with the remaining mashed potatoes.
Step 5
For a golden color, brush the top with butter.
Step 6
Bake for 40–45 minutes at 302°F.
