Description
Potato cutlets made with wheat flour
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 35.3 oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.2 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil them until soft in salted water. Once cooked, drain the water and add a good piece of butter.
Step 2
While the potatoes are still warm, mash them together with the butter until you have a smooth mixture without lumps. Now add the eggs and about one and a half tablespoons of flour, and mix thoroughly until homogeneous.
Step 3
From the resulting dough, shape cutlets (or round patties) and place them in a hot frying pan with vegetable oil.
Step 4
Fry the cutlets over medium heat until they acquire a golden color. At this point, flip them over and achieve the same color on the other side. After that, the dish can be considered ready. Serve the cutlets with sour cream, mushroom sauce, vegetable salad, or as a side dish to meat or fish dishes.
