  • Butter - 0.9 oz
  • Nutmeg - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel and slice the potatoes. Remove excess starch by soaking the slices in cold water and stirring. Drain and dry.

Step 2

Layer the potatoes in a baking dish greased with butter, sprinkling with minced garlic, pepper, and salt.

Step 3

Combine the cream and milk, pour over the potatoes, sprinkle with nutmeg, top with pieces of butter, and bake for 1.5 hours at 302°F.
