- Potato - 4 lbs
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 17.6 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 1 can
- Garlic - 4½ cloves
- Spices - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly into rounds.
Step 2
Grate the cheese using a fine grater.
Step 3
Finely chop the garlic or press it through a garlic press, then add it to the sour cream.
Step 4
Also add spices to the sour cream and garlic, about half a packet.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 6
Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil.
Step 7
Layer the baking sheet with potatoes, then sauce, followed by seasoning and cheese. Continue layering in this order until the potatoes are finished or the baking sheet is full. The final layer should be cheese.
Step 8
Place the baking tray in the oven for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
