Description
Dried mushrooms can be used instead of fresh ones. In this case, the mushrooms should be boiled first, chopped, and then sautéed with onions. The mushroom broth can be added while stewing the potatoes in the pot with the vegetables.
Ingredients
- Potato - 26.5 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Sour Cream - 5 teaspoons
- Bay leaf - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 3 spoons
- Parsley - to taste
- Scallions - to taste
- Dill - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and rinse them well, then blanch them in boiling water. Chop the onion finely. Sauté the mushrooms together with the onion over low heat.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges, then sauté them in vegetable oil in a skillet.
Step 3
Place the fried potatoes along with the mushrooms in a pot, pour in water until it covers the top layer, season with salt and pepper to taste, add a bay leaf and a couple of sprigs of parsley. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes. You can also add a few tablespoons of sour cream to the dish.
Step 4
Before serving, remove the parsley and bay leaf, then sprinkle the potatoes with finely chopped herbs.
