Description
Potatoes Stuffed with Ham and Cheese
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 14.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Ground Nutmeg - to taste
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Ham - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 2.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, cut them in half, and scoop out the insides, leaving walls about 5 mm thick. I found that using a teaspoon works best for this.
Step 2
Fry the resulting potato cups in vegetable oil. Boil the scooped-out potato in salted water. Drain the water, season with nutmeg and butter, and mash.
Step 3
Grate the onion and finely chop the ham. Sauté everything together. Mix it all with the boiled potatoes. Stuff the potato cups with the prepared mixture. Slice the cheese thinly and place it on top of each potato half. Preheat the oven to 338°F. Bake the potatoes at this temperature for 20–30 minutes.
