Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 6 lbs
- Poultry - 5 lbs
- Crabapples - 2 lbs
- Pork fat - 7.1 oz
- Lard - 7.1 oz
- Knorr Delikate Seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 0 oz
- Salt - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Chicken Seasoning - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash and peel the apples, potatoes, and chicken.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into portions, sprinkle with poultry seasoning, or simply add salt and pepper to taste, and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Slice the apples and potatoes into wedges.
Step 4
Cut the lard into thin strips or small pieces.
Step 5
Mix the potatoes, lard, and apples, add Knorr Delikate seasoning or just salt and pepper.
Step 6
Spread everything on a large baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, place the chicken pieces on top of the potatoes, cover with foil, and put it in the oven (preheating is optional). Bake for about 45 minutes at 428°F covered with foil, and then another 10-15 minutes uncovered for a crispy finish.
