Potatoes with Chanterelles
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 42.3 oz
- Pickled Chanterelles - 24.7 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- 20% Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean and rinse the chanterelles.
Step 2
Place the chanterelles in a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, and boil for a few minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the chanterelles with a slotted spoon to a bowl, cool, and chop.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion.
Step 5
In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat vegetable oil and sauté the onion for 2–3 minutes.
Step 6
Add the chopped chanterelles and sauté together with the onion for a few more minutes.
Step 7
Peel the potatoes, cut them into wedges, and add them to the chanterelles and onion.
Step 8
Add 2–3 tablespoons of water, salt, and simmer until the potatoes are cooked through.
Step 9
A few minutes before the potatoes are done, add the finely chopped garlic clove and the tablespoon of sour cream.
