Ingredients
- Potato - 28.2 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Cream - 13 fl oz
- Hard Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Parsley - 2 sprigs
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Nutmeg - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm cubes.
Step 4
Chop the mushrooms coarsely or leave them whole if they are very small.
Step 5
Grease the pots with butter.
Step 6
Place the onions, potatoes, and mushrooms into the pots. You can layer them or mix them together.
Step 7
Combine the cream with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and crushed garlic.
Step 8
Pour the cream into the pots, cover with lids, and place them in an oven preheated to 392°F for 40 minutes. The cream should not completely cover the potatoes; they will cook through regardless.
Step 9
Then remove the lids, sprinkle the contents of the pots with grated cheese, and return them to the oven for another 5–10 minutes.
Step 10
Sprinkle the cooked potatoes with mushrooms with chopped parsley and serve.
