Ingredients
- Beef - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Canned Baby Beets - 2 cans
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the carrot, onion, and garlic, and sauté them in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 2
While the vegetables are simmering, cut the meat into small pieces. Once the onion is translucent, add the meat to the pan and increase the heat. Sear the meat on all sides, then reduce the heat and add water.
Step 3
After 15 minutes of simmering, season the mixture with salt and pepper. When the meat is cooked, add the beans, draining half of the liquid from the can beforehand.
Step 4
Bring the mixture to a boil, turn off the heat, cover the pan with a lid, and let it stew for about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the finished dish on plates, topped with herbs.
