Description
Garlic (finely chopped or pressed through a garlic press) adds a tangy flavor to the sauce and pairs wonderfully with meat dishes, toasts, and crispy baguettes. Chopped parsley and basil (mixed into the sauce) will give the mayonnaise a pleasant taste and aroma. This sauce is excellent with fish dishes. Olives (finely chopped and mixed with mayonnaise) impart a southern touch to the mayonnaise, making it a great complement to potato dishes. Cheese (grated on a fine grater and mixed with mayonnaise) is perfect for vegetable dishes. Lemon zest (grated on a coarse grater and mixed with mayonnaise) adds a delightful citrus aroma to the sauce, making it suitable for fish, seafood, and vegetable dishes.
