Description

It is best to use green walnuts for this recipe. Although ripe walnuts become incredibly tender in the company of prunes and juice after just an hour and a half.

Ingredients

  • Prunes - 17.6 oz
  • Oranges - 6 pieces
  • Walnuts - 3.5 oz
  • Sugar - 1.8 oz

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Juice the oranges, leaving the pulp in.

Step 3

Stuff the pitted prunes with walnuts and immerse them in a small pot with orange juice.

Step 4

Add sugar to the mixture and place the saucepan over low heat.

Step 5

After an hour and a half, you can serve its contents with tea. Mint tea, without sugar.
