- Pumpkin - 2 lbs
- Olive Oil - ¾ glasses
- Smoked cheese sauce - 22.9 oz
- Heavy cream - 2 spoons
- Ricotta cheese - 2 spoons
- Courgette - 2 pieces
- Chili Flakes - 1 tablespoon
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Pizza Flour - 3 lbs
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - a pinch
- Fresh basil leaves - 16 pieces
- Coarse Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the pumpkin into cubes, mix with 1/4 cup of olive oil and salt, spread on a baking sheet, and roast for twenty-five minutes at 500°F. Transfer to a blender, add 200 grams of mozzarella, ricotta, cream, and salt, and blend until smooth.
Step 2
Dice the bell pepper into small cubes. In a skillet, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil and sauté the chili. Add the chopped zucchini and season with salt. Sauté until cooked, then transfer to a bowl. In the remaining oil, quickly sauté the bell pepper.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 4 parts, shape into balls, and flatten each one with your hands into a circle about 25 cm in diameter. Place half a cup of pumpkin puree on each circle, then top with a quarter of a zucchini, a quarter of a bell pepper, a few slices of mozzarella, and some basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake for three to four minutes.
