Pumpkin Hummus
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Pita bread - 4 pieces
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Ground red pepper - 0.1 teaspoon
- Pumpkin - 14.8 oz
- Minced garlic - 1 clove
- Parsley - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the pieces of pita on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Bake at 220°C (428°F) for 6 minutes.
Step 2
Put tahini and the remaining 6 ingredients (except parsley) in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Add parsley and blend until smooth.
Step 4
Transfer the hummus to a dish and top with roasted pumpkin seeds.
Step 5
Serve by placing 3 tablespoons of hummus on each piece of pita.
