Quail fillet in honey-ginger marinade
Ingredients
- Quail Egg - 12.3 oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Grated Ginger Root - 0.4 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a deep bowl, combine the oil, soy sauce, and mustard.
Step 2
Drizzle with lemon juice and mix well.
Step 3
Using a press, crush the garlic.
Step 4
Do the same with the ginger.
Step 5
Add honey and mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Place the meat on foil and generously coat with the sauce. Wrap in foil and marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Place the fillet on a dry, hot grill pan.
Step 8
Once the bottom side is browned, flip it over.
Step 9
Reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid.
Step 10
After 7 minutes, the dish is ready!
