Quail in the Oven
Ingredients
- Quail Egg - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Coconut Milk - 1 fl oz
- Uchiko Suneli - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Champagne Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pat the quails dry with paper towels.
Step 2
Pour olive oil into a deep bowl.
Step 3
Add soy sauce.
Step 4
Then add mustard.
Step 5
Press the garlic using a garlic press.
Step 6
Add coconut milk.
Step 7
Pour in the white wine vinegar.
Step 8
Add uchiko suneli and mix thoroughly.
Step 9
Place the quails on foil and brush with the prepared sauce on all sides.
Step 10
Wrap in foil, place in a baking dish, and send to a preheated oven at 356°F.
Step 11
After 15 minutes, open the foil and continue baking until golden brown for 5–10 minutes (depending on the oven characteristics).
Step 12
Once the quails are ready, transfer to a plate and serve.
