Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Spanish onions - 1 piece
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Cider - 10 fl oz
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Heat the oil in a pan, sear the tenderloin on all sides, and place it in a baking dish.
Step 2
Carefully sauté the onion until soft and golden brown. Add the cider, bring to a boil, and gently pour over the pork. Add the bay leaf to the dish and season. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.
Step 3
While the meat is cooking in the oven, sauté the apples in the remaining oil, adding sugar until golden.
Step 4
Carefully remove the pork and onion with a slotted spoon. Discard the bay leaf. Boil until the liquid thickens to a syrup-like consistency. Add the sour cream. Slice the pork and serve with the onion, sauce, and apples.
