Description
This is a wonderful side dish, especially with grilled fish, but it also pairs very well with steak.
Ingredients
- Fennel - 1 head
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Chili Flakes - to taste
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the fennel on a coarse grater or do the same using a food processor.
Step 2
Finely grate the lemon zest.
Step 3
Juice half of the lemon.
Step 4
Combine the fennel with the lemon zest in a salad bowl.
Step 5
For the dressing, mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with three tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 6
Dress the fennel slaw with this mixture and mix well.
Step 7
If the fennel bulb is large, you can add more dressing, mixing it in similar proportions.
Step 8
Sprinkle chili flakes on top to taste.
