Quick Fish Pie
Ingredients
- Unleavened dough - 17.6 oz
- Halibut - 1 piece
- Sole fillets - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Celery stalk - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion coarsely and sauté it in sunflower oil. Add the chopped pieces of halibut and sole fillet, after about 5 minutes add the sliced celery stalk, season with salt and pepper, add lemon juice, stir, and simmer with the lid off for about 15–20 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven (temperature 392°F).
Step 3
Dust the table with flour and roll out the dough into 2 equal layers.
Step 4
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place 1 layer of dough on it, and spread the filling on top.
Step 5
Cover everything with the second layer of dough.
Step 6
To achieve a golden crust, you can brush the pie with water using a pastry brush.
Step 7
Bake at 392°F for 20–30 minutes.
