Description
If desired, you can substitute kefir with sour cream in this quick pizza dough recipe. Use 250 g of sour cream and mix it with baking soda that has been neutralized with vinegar.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Kefir - 8 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ¼ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs with salt in a small bowl.
Step 2
Pour the kefir into a large bowl.
Step 3
Add baking soda that has been reacted with vinegar to the kefir.
Step 4
Pour the beaten eggs into the yogurt and mix the mixture well.
Step 5
Add the flour; I prefer to add it in portions so I can feel the consistency of the dough. In general, a blender can be used to make the dough, but I prefer to knead this particular dough by hand.
Step 6
Add olive oil to the dough.
Step 7
Mix the batter. It should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream — liquid, yet fluffy, resulting from the reaction between the kefir and baking soda.
Step 8
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and pour in the quick kefir pizza dough, then place the baking sheet in the oven at about 392°F. Once the dough is golden brown, you can add the toppings and bake until fully cooked.
Step 9
Remove the pizza made with quick kefir pizza dough.
Step 10
The perfect addition to your pizza can be fresh greens (romaine, iceberg, spinach, arugula) sprinkled on top just before serving.
