- Long-Grain Rice - 1 cup
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 3.5 oz
- Cervelat Sausage - 3.5 oz
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a non-stick pot. Add the onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the carrot and mix with the onion. Sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the meat products into cubes. Add the diced meat products to the pot and mix with the onion and carrot. Sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
Pour 3 cups of water into the pot. Bring the water to a boil. Add salt and any spices to taste. The water should be slightly salty and sweet. Add the 4 cloves of garlic, distributing them evenly across the surface of the pot.
Step 5
Rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water. Add the rice to the pot, spreading it evenly across the surface. After this, do not stir at all!
Step 6
Cover with a lid and cook for about 30 minutes, checking with a wooden spatula to see if the water has evaporated. When all the water has evaporated from the pot, mix everything thoroughly. The dish is ready.
