Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 10.6 oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Habanero Pepper - 2 pieces
- Cilantro - 6 stems
- Coarse Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove seeds from the chili and finely chop. Peel the onion and chop it finely as well.
Step 2
Place the tomatillos in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 4 minutes. Drain, reserving 0.5 cup of the water.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the tomatillos, onion, peppers, cilantro leaves, salt, and ¼ cup of the reserved tomatillo water. Blend until smooth, adding more water to achieve your desired consistency.
