Rabbit in cream sauce
Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil - 3 spoons
- Rabbit - 21.2 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Cayenne Pepper - to taste
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Honey - 2 spoons
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Milk - 1½ glasses
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Paprika - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet. Season the rabbit meat with spices and brush it with honey, then fry in the skillet until golden brown.
Step 2
In a separate skillet, melt the butter, add the flour, and lightly sauté. Pour in the warm milk and add nutmeg. Stir until thickened, but do not overcook.
Step 3
Add the sauce to the meat and pour in the soy sauce (I added it to taste, approximately 2 tablespoons). Cover and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
