Description
Rabbit with fried mushrooms, basmati rice, and green beans.
Ingredients
- Rabbit Legs - 2 pieces
- Salted honey mushrooms - 10.6 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chinese green beans - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 3.5 oz
- Basmati rice - 3.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Dry White Wine - 7 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Mushroom seasoning - 1 qt
- Dried Chili Pepper - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Season the rabbit legs with salt and sauté them in a multicooker (in frying mode) with olive oil until golden brown on both sides. Add finely chopped onion and cook the meat with the onion for another five to seven minutes, then add wine, minced garlic, chopped dried green pepper, mushrooms, and broth. Simmer for half an hour.
Step 2
Add the rice, beans, and some broth if it seems there isn't enough liquid in the slow cooker for the rice to cook properly, and let it cook for another twenty minutes. Frozen mushrooms release a lot of moisture during cooking, so you probably won't need additional broth to cook a handful of rice. Rabbit can be served with white, rosé, or red wine.
