Ingredients
- Rabbit - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 3 pieces
- Sage - 3 stems
- Mustard Greens - 2 tablespoons
- Dry White Wine - 5 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Boiling water - 17 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the rabbit, pat it dry with a paper towel, and cut it into large pieces.
Step 2
In heated vegetable oil, sauté the rabbit along with the garlic cloves until golden brown.
Step 3
Pour in the wine and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the mustard, sugar, whole chili peppers, lemon juice, sage, and 500 ml of boiling water. Season with salt and pepper, and simmer over medium heat for 1–1.5 hours.
