Ravioli with Mozzarella

Ingredients

  • Durum wheat - 17.6 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Water - 1 fl oz
  • Melted Cheese - 4.4 oz
  • Basil - 0.2 oz
  • Thyme - 0 oz
  • Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Pesto - 1.8 oz
  • Egg white - 4 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Knead the dough: add eggs, water, and salt to the flour. Let the dough rest for 45 minutes in a dark place.

Step 2

Prepare the cheese, thyme, and basil; finely chop them and roll into small balls.

Step 3

Roll out the dough into two thin sheets; place one sheet and sprinkle it with water. Add the filling on top and cover with the second sheet.

Step 4

Cut out the ravioli using a mold; boil for 5 minutes. Then place the ravioli in a skillet, pour in the cream and pesto sauce. Simmer over medium heat until it reaches a thick sauce consistency.

Step 5

Serve, garnished with a sprig of thyme!
