Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh basil leaves - 3.5 oz
- Scamorza Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the filling: grate the cheese on a coarse grater, chop the basil with a knife, and mix together.
Step 2
Knead the dough until it is firm enough. Leave it under a towel for half an hour to soften, then roll it out into two equal sheets. On one sheet, place spoonfuls of the cheese filling spaced 3 cm apart.
Step 3
Brush the dough between the filling with beaten egg using a brush. Place the second sheet of dough on top and press down, then cut everything into half-moons so that the filling is in the middle.
Step 4
Place the ravioli in salted boiling water and cook for 7-8 minutes. Serve drizzled with Italian tomato sauce and garnished with basil leaves.
