Ingredients
- Rhubarb - 8.8 oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Habanero Pepper - 2 pieces
- Cider - 1 tablespoon
- Light Raisins, Seedless - 1.8 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Water - ¼ cup
- Grated Ginger Root - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the rhubarb into 2 cm pieces — you should have about 2 cups.
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine the rhubarb, finely chopped onion, honey, raisins, seeded and finely chopped peppers, vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce the heat, and cover. Cook for 15 minutes, then uncover and cook for another 3–5 minutes until thickened.
