  • Honey - 2.1 oz
  • Water - 4 tablespoons
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat Flour - 2.1 oz
  • Oat flakes - 0.9 oz
  • Brown Sugar - 2.1 oz
  • Butter - 2.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

First, prepare the rhubarb with honey, adding a bit of water and lemon juice until the mixture is soft enough, but don't overdo it – you don't want a mush.

Step 2

Place all of this in a deep dish, as the filling should be at the very bottom.

Step 3

Then sift the flour and mix all the ingredients to make the crumble.

Step 4

The butter or margarine should be warm; pay attention to the fat content, it shouldn't be too fatty.

Step 5

After mixing all the crumble ingredients, evenly distribute it over the rhubarb and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes, until the crust is crispy and brown.
