Description
Ribs in Soy Sauce and Ginger Marinade
Ingredients
- Pork Skewers - 6 lbs
- Soy Sauce - 8 fl oz
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi - 8 fl oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Sesame Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Habanero Pepper - 3 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Ginger - 3.5 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 can
- Baking Tomatoes - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the ribs on a baking sheet. In a blender, mix the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, oil, minced garlic cloves, jalapeño peppers, bell pepper, roughly chopped onion, minced ginger, tomato paste, and salt.
Step 2
Divide the resulting sauce: pour 240 ml over the ribs and save the rest. Let the ribs marinate overnight.
Step 3
Preheat the grill. Bring the remaining sauce to a boil and simmer until 1/3 of the liquid evaporates.
Step 4
Grill the ribs, basting with the sauce. If the ribs start to burn, move them to a cooler part of the grill.
Step 5
Transfer the finished ribs to a plate, let them cool slightly, cut into individual ribs, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
