Ingredients
- Rice Noodles - 7.9 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Shallot - 4 pieces
- Fresh Mushrooms - 2.5 oz
- Tofu - 3.5 oz
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Apple Wine - 1 tablespoon
- Fish Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Peanut Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Chili jam - 1 tablespoon
- Peanut Sprouts - 2 tablespoons
- Basil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the rice noodles for 15 minutes (or according to package instructions). Then drain the water and set the noodles aside.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic, ginger root (about 2 cm in size), and shallots. Sauté for a few minutes until light brown in heated oil in a large skillet.
Step 3
Add the chopped mushrooms and sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add the cubed tofu (1.5 cm) and fry until golden brown.
Step 4
Mix the soy sauce, rice wine, fish sauce, peanut butter, and chili sauce, then add to the skillet.
Step 5
Add the noodles and mix with the sauce. Sprinkle with peanuts and chopped basil. Serve hot.
