Ingredients
- Rice - 1½ cups
- Ground Oats - 0.7 cups
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Dill - 1.8 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice and oats separately, then mix them and add to 700 ml of boiling water.
Step 2
Cover the pot tightly with a lid and cook the mixture on high heat for 12 minutes.
Step 3
Then reduce the heat to medium and cook the porridge for another 5–8 minutes.
Step 4
After that, remove the pot from the heat, wrap it in a thick towel, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Peel, wash, and finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté them in heated vegetable oil.
Step 6
Wash and finely chop the dill.
Step 7
Add salt to the porridge, mix it with the onion, garlic, and dill, and heat on low for 3–4 minutes.
