Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 1 cup
- Ham - 1.8 oz
- Shrimp - 1.8 oz
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Green Peas - 0.9 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Wild Garlic Greens - 0.7 oz
- Pickled Chanterelles - 1.8 oz
- Sesame Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, pour in 2 liters of boiling water, add salt, and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the water, cover the pot with a lid, reduce the heat to the minimum, and cook the porridge for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Then remove the pot from the heat and let the rice steam under the lid for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Peel and rinse the shrimp.
Step 5
Slice the ham into thin pieces.
Step 6
Clean, rinse, and slice the mushrooms.
Step 7
Peel, wash, and slice the carrot into thin rounds.
Step 8
Wash the wild garlic, dry it, and chop finely.
Step 9
Heat the oil in a deep skillet and sauté the ham, shrimp, mushrooms, carrot, and wild garlic, add the green peas and rice, season with salt, mix, and fry for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 10
Wash the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds.
Step 11
Wash and dry the parsley.
Step 12
Serve the finished porridge on a large dish and garnish with parsley sprigs and cucumber slices.
