Ingredients
- Boiled White Round Rice - 1 cup
- Water - 2½ cups
- Cream 22% - 3.5 oz
- Pumpkin - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the pumpkin, cut it open, and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Peel and cut into medium-sized cubes.
Step 3
Rinse the rice in cold water several times until the water runs clear.
Step 4
Place on low heat, adding salt during the cooking process.
Step 5
After the water boils, add the diced pumpkin to the rice and reduce the heat to the minimum. Cover with a lid and cook until the rice and pumpkin are soft and almost all the liquid has evaporated.
Step 6
When the rice is almost ready, add sugar to taste.
Step 7
Pour in the cream. Stir.
Step 8
Simmer covered for another 5–10 minutes.
Step 9
The finished porridge can be wrapped for 30 minutes to steam and enhance the flavor.
Step 10
Serve.
