- Long-Grain Rice - 12.3 oz
- Pumpkin - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Quince - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 4 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice thoroughly and let it drain.
Step 2
Cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
Step 3
Wash the apples, peel them, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.
Step 4
Wash the quince, peel it, remove the core, and cut it into small cubes.
Step 5
In a deep skillet, heat some oil, place the pumpkin at the bottom, and top with 1/3 of the prepared rice.
Step 6
Add the mixture of apple and quince cubes, and sprinkle with another layer of rice.
Step 7
Wash the tomatoes, cut them into small cubes, place them in an even layer, and pour salted water over them until the top layer of rice is completely covered.
Step 8
Cover the skillet tightly with a lid and cook the porridge on low heat for 1 hour.
