- Long-Grain Rice - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Sweet Pepper - 1 piece
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 15.9 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - 1½ teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel, wash, and chop the onion.
Step 2
Wash the sweet pepper, remove the stem and seeds, and finely chop.
Step 3
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.
Step 4
In a two-liter pot, heat the onion, sweet pepper, and butter in the microwave on high power for 2–3 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
Step 5
Pour in 0.5 liters of water, add the tomatoes, pepper, and salt, and stir in the rice.
Step 6
Simmer covered on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring once.
Step 7
Remove the finished porridge from the microwave and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
