  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Peel, wash, and slice the carrots and celery roots into thin strips.

Step 3

Place the prepared vegetables in a microwave-safe dish, add the butter, and sauté, stirring, covered, for 5 minutes at full power.

Add the rinsed rice to the vegetables, pour in the broth, and cook for another 10 minutes covered at full power.

Step 5

Stir the porridge, reduce the power to medium, and cook covered for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Season the porridge with salt and pepper, and let it sit covered for 15 minutes.
