- Long-Grain Rice - 1 cup
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Green Peas - 3.5 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Red Curry Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, pour in 1.5 cups of water, bring to a boil, add salt, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Then reduce the heat to low and let the porridge cook under a lid until ready.
Step 3
Peel, wash, and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and slice the onion into half-rings.
Step 5
Wash the tomatoes, pour boiling water over them, cool in cold water, peel, and dice finely.
Step 6
Sauté the onion and carrot in vegetable oil, add the green peas, and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, then add the tomatoes, curry, and salt, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 7
Mix the porridge with the vegetables, serve in portioned plates, and enjoy.
