- Chicken Liver - 17.6 oz
- Rice - 1 glass
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3.5 oz
- Canned Mushroom Soup - 1 can
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the liver and place it in a heavy-bottomed pot with heated vegetable oil. Sauté for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Prepare the onion and garlic as follows.
Step 3
Add the onion and garlic to the liver and sauté over medium heat for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomato paste, mix well, and continue to sauté for another 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
Add a cup of parboiled rice and green peas to the tomato mixture. Stir everything together, season with salt, and pour in 1.5 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil, allowing the liquid to evaporate. Then reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for 35 to 40 minutes.
